Thursday Night Bills Vs. Rams: OVER/ UNDER REVIEW
What a great way to start off the 2 2022 NFL season Thursday night was a total success. 7 out of the 8 props given for Thursday night hit. That's a 99% hit rate to start the season and we haven’t even finished the week. Trusting the process continues to pay off, literally.
Let’s recap last night’s season opener:
7 OUT 8 PROPS - Success
Stefon Diggs - OVER 66.5 receiving yards - Success
Stefon Diggs - OVER 5.5 receptions - Success
Allen Robinson - OVER 57.5 receiving yards - Miss
Cooper Kupp - OVER 89.5 receiving yards - Success
Derrell Henderson – OVER 29.5 rushing yards - Success
Gabriel Davis - OVER 58.5 receiving yards - Success
Devin Singletary - OVER 46.5 rushing yards - Success
Tyler Higbee - OVER 36.5 receiving yards - Success
Stefon Diggs OVER 66.5 receiving yards and Stefon Diggs OVER 5.5 reception. Both Hit
Both props were a success hitting the over. Diggs finished the game with 8/9 receptions for 122 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
Allen Robinson - OVER 57.5 receiving yds. – Miss
Even with Tre white out Matthew Stafford and the Rams couldn't figure out a way to continuously get the ball down the field. surprisingly Allen Robinson was the one being double teamed. I guess teams realize that it's impossible to cover Cooper Kupp.
Cooper Kupp - OVER 89.5 receiving yards. - Success
Kupp will continue to be a beast this year and once again he's reminding us why he was the MVP of fantasy football last year. since February I was saying that Cooper Kupp is hands down the safest first round pick after Jonathan Taylor and he’s reminding us that he could even be the safest pick even over Jonathan Taylor.
Derrell Henderson OVER 29.5 rushing yards. - Success
Darrell Henderson finished with 13 carries for 47 yards. this was an easy one I knew that the Rams weren't going to be starting Cam Akers in game one of the season against a stout defense such as the Bills. If the Rams were to win this game it was going to be won in the air. Last night's domination by the bills proved early on that this would be the case and the Rams weren't up for the challenge. I believe that the Rams were planning on easing Cam Akers back in, but it didn’t help Cam’s case that he came in in random times and did nothing with the touches. No running back has ever come back from an Achilles tear and it's looking more and more likely that this will be the case with Cam Akers. Derrell Henderson tends to wear down by the end of the season so there is still hope for Cam acres to get good enough to produce in this system if he is somewhat close to form.
Gabriel Davis OVER 58.5 receiving yards. - Success
He finished right where he left off last year against the Chiefs. Davis ended the night with 4/5 receptions, 88 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Tyler Higbee OVER 36.5 receiving yards – Success
He finished with 39 receiving yards. he had a few drops and a few bad throws from Stafford throws from Stafford he would have easily gone over this number. I was sweating this one the most out of all the props. Tyler Higbee is probably a player I won’t be playing unless the play absolutely stands out or there are injured pass catchers on the Rams. He flashes at times signs of greatness, but his actual game confounds me. He is so inconsistent in usage and play. I believe this kid Ben Skowronek will eventually surpass Higbee.
Devin Singletary OVER 46.5 rushing yards – Success
This play was close but I expected it to be with James Cook and Zack Moss being sprinkled in.
Make sure you check out the updated list props list for the weekend. Good luck and let’s continue to grind!
